GRAB YOUR SEAT!

As a nonprofit founder or leader, you just want to do the work to serve people. To do that, you need the right people to invest in your vision and mission. They’ve got questions. And—believe it or not—you have the answers within reach!

“Proving Your Impact” can feel like an overwhelming task. In your quest to gather answers, you find that you just have more questions. The challenge is in connecting the right dots so you can share it in a way that moves people to action.

How do we prove impact?

Are we collecting the right data?

How exactly do we go from number to a compelling story?

With a combined 30+ years in championing local change initiatives while working in and with multiple nonprofits, here’s what we know for sure:

Storytelling with data doesn't have to be stressful. The ImpactStory strategy puts it within reach

Nonprofits don’t need to prove impact. They simply need to confidently show impact.

Leaning into our experience as clinical psychologists and our work with over 150 nonprofits, we’ve developed a strategy that uncomplicates the process of confidently communicating the incredible work your organization does… so you can get back to the on-the-ground work you love.

At the core of this process is one thing: storytelling. And not just any storytelling, a very specific strategy we call ImpactStory™.

Join us as we share the three steps you’ll need to tell your organization’s ImpactStory™:

We’re Maryfrances and Alison!

We are two psychologists who believe in the power of impact.

Together, we bring a combined 30+ years of higher education and 30+ years of experience championing local change initiatives. We’ve done the research, wrestled with the issues, mastered the statistics, and done the front-line work.

Our mission is simple

To uncomplicate the tedious task of showing your good work to the world. You’re in this job to make real change, not spend your days crunching numbers to prove it.

Our stories brought us together.

We met eight years ago and bonded over our shared social justice values and the goal of lifting others up. As women, psychologists, parents, and humans, we have seen firsthand how one person can create a cascade of goodness, that most people are doing the best they can with what they have, and that most of our power is untapped.

Today, we teach nonprofit leaders how to blend the art and science of storytelling to discover and share their organization’s impact on the world.

What our clients say:

“We’ve been working with our evaluation framework and logic model for years. We were reluctant to participate in another course because of feeling stuck and that our evaluation framework had been overworked. However, we came out with fresh momentum and energy and concrete results.”

-Dolly Joseph,
Computers4Kids

“This series was a great opportunity to identify why the work we do really matters. Sometimes it’s easy to get caught in the day-to-day details and make assumptions about our impact. This series provides a framework for truly identifying the true grade and impact of our efforts. Thank you!”

-Heather Mott,
Direct Marketing and
Support Services Manager
Camp Holiday Trails

“Based on our work together our organization was able to form a clear message and have created a variety of presentation materials, surveys, and processes enabling us to measure impact and get the word out in a clear, professional, and attractive manner.  We have been complimented by many stakeholders, sponsors, and grant makers! The upcoming year feels dynamic and more manageable because of these efforts.  “
